The Marshmallow Challenge

Have you heard about The Marshmallow Challenge? For MATHS WEEK 2018 our principal, Mrs. Costello challenged us with The Marshmallow Challenge. With 20 sticks of dry spaghetti, one metre of masking tape, one metre of string and a marshmallow, the students were asked to see what was the tallest free standing structure they could build. You can see more about The Marshmallow Challenge HERE.

Everyday during the announcements Mrs. Costello sets us two maths problems to solve. These problems can been seen on the wall opposite the Principal’s Office. They make us think. We are learning and having fun during Maths Week.
