The Marshmallow Challenge

Have you heard about The Marshmallow Challenge? For MATHS WEEK 2019 our principal, Mrs. Costello has challenged us with the Marshmallow Challenge. With 20 sticks of dry spaghetti, one metre of masking tape, one metre of string and a marshmallow, the students from 3rd Class to 6th are asked to see what was the tallest free standing structure they can build. Some classes did this last year too, so they are hoping to use what they learnt last year to make bigger and better free standing structures. Maths Week is on from October 14th to 18th. We are looking forward to this challenge.
