Saint Brigid’s National School, is a primary school situated in the centre of Greystones, Co. Wicklow. Our mission is to provide the highest quality education for all our children in a happy, safe and stimulating Christian environment, focusing on their academic, social, personal, moral and spiritual development to help them be the best they can be.

Spring is on its way

The school grounds received a colourful Spring ‘makeover’ on Friday. Pots and window boxes have been replanted. Many thanks to Éimear McCartan, grandmother of pupils Ruadhán, Ailbhe and Caoileann Murray, for her generous donation towards these new plants. See the photos below. Thanks too, to Rebecca Gill and Aoife Murray who did the planting. The larger pots now hold with evergreen trees should hopefully last a long time. The seasonal bedding plants below the trees add some colour and a taste of Spring. Well done to the ever faithful Parents’ Association Gardening Committee who give so generously of their time, to make the school grounds look so colourful and so welcoming all year round.
