Notification regarding the Board of Management’s review of the Child Safeguarding Statement – The Board of Management’s annual review of the school’s Child Safeguarding Statement was completed at our Board meeting on Tuesday 10th September.

- The Deputy Designated Liaison Person (DDLP) is Orla Teehan
5th & 6th Class GAA – Well done to the 17 5th and 6th girls who played in a Gaelic Blitz on Thursday 19th September. They had lots of fun playing against different schools from Greystones and Bray. Thank you to Mr. Dodd and the parent volunteers for going along.
Happy Birthday –Happy birthday to Donnacha Cribbin (aged 11), Ned Flynn (age 8), Jake Killilea (age 8), Nicole Baranski (age 11) and Alison Pike (age 9). We hope you enjoy your special day. Breithlá sona daoibh go léir.
After School activities –After School Activities started back this week. It was wonderful to see the children excited to develop their dance, basketball, tennis, guitar and drama skills and having lots of fun too.
Sponsored Walk – Our sponsored walk will take place on Friday 4th October. This is one of our main fundraisers for the year and we really appreciate any support you can give us to make this a successful event. Sponsorship cards and details of the route will be sent to all families shortly.
Registration for First Holy Communion and Confirmation – Registration for the preparation and the celebration of First Holy Communion and Confirmation is open and will close on the 18th of October. The registration link is here
Junior Infant Photos– All orders must be placed online with our school photographer Ian FY Young by 9am on Thursday 26th September. Details on how to order were emailed to parents this week.

Parents Association AGM – This will take place in the school hall this coming Monday 23rd September at 8.10pm. The Parents’ Association will be serving tea and coffee from 7.50pm. There will be an opportunity for you to visit your child’s classroom from 7.30pm to 7.50pm. We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible on the night.
Under 13s Win– Congratulations to Tadgh Hartigan in 6th class who won the Under 13’s Shield Final with Eire Óg. A huge achievement for the whole team and community. Well done!
Good Weather – To celebrate the beautiful weather this week, all teacher reduced the amount of homework given to allow the children to enjoy the beautiful sunshine!
