Grandparents Day

To celebrate CATHOLIC SCHOOLS WEEK (29th January – 2nd February) Wednesday 31st January 2018 has been designated GRANDPARENTS DAY in St. Brigid’s NS. We would like to invite the Grandparents in our Community to our school on that day to help us to celebrate. We will be holding a Prayer Service on the day and would be delighted if grandparents could take part in the prayer service and also visit their grandchild’s class for a short while. They could chat to the boys and girls about how life has changed since they were in school or perhaps tell us what happened on their Communion/Confirmation Day or some special prayers that they used as children. Due to the pressure of space, we may not be able to accommodate everyone who would like to attend. For this reason, if you would like to join us on that day, please fill in the form that was emailed home. Where there are more than four grandparents per class who are in a position to visit, we will put names in a ‘hat’.The pupils would enjoy seeing photos of those times. Looking forward to meeting some of our Grandparents on the day. Kind regards, Ms. Costello
