Book Lists

Booklists / Orders

BOOKLISTS are posted out to all students, Senior Infants to Sixth with SCHOOL REPORTS in June. Reports and booklists will be sent out via Aladdin Connect from June 2020. For Junior Infants, parents pay the school for books and the school buys the books.

A copy of the book lists is given to Michael Doherty, Main Street, Bray. Mr. Doherty also operates a website HERE.

You can also the place your order in the Village Bookshop, Church Road, or the Business Bureau, both in Greystones.

Parents pay for Senior Infants stationery online or in the office in June and the school orders same.

Book Rental Scheme

St Brigid’s operates a book rental scheme for all pupils, whereby pupils can rent textbooks. Workbooks by their nature are ‘worked in’ and written on so workbooks are not available to rent.

Department of Education and Science Book Grant

The Department of Education and Science gives a book grant to the school of €11 per pupil based on the total enrolment on 30th September of the previous year. The Department intends this to be used to establish and maintain a book rental system for all the children.
