Policy on Commercialism
The Department of Education (Circular 7/87) asks school authorities to avoid parents being put under pressure to buy a particular commercial product. The school will try to minimize the numbers of commercial presentations aimed at children and incentive schemes or competitions that try to influence what parents buy (e.g. voucher/token collection).
