As we have come to the end of a very busy but successful term, I would just like to add a couple of acknowledgements and reflections and wish all in our St. Brigid’s community a safe, happy and holy Easter
Firstly, I would like to thank you the students, parents and staff for your continued efforts to welcome me into the School this term and to get to know me a little better. I have felt welcomed and supported from the first day, so thank you again.
During this term, staff have concentrated on developing a ‘Learning Culture’ in our students. We have emphasized the importance of students accepting responsibility for their learning. We have emphasized the need for staff and students to work together as learning partners. Staff have worked diligently in assisting students achieve to the best of their abilities.
Thank you also to parents and students for your excellent support of our Uniform Policy so far. We have nearly 100% compliance with students presenting each day smartly dressed and ready for the school day. The 1st May marks the beginning of our summer and the children may wear their school shorts to school from this day on if they so wish.
Finally, I wish you all a very happy Easter. Enjoy the break and this special time with your family and friends and thank you once again for a great Term 2 We look forward to seeing everyone’s eager, cheery faces next term.
