June 27th 2018
I can’t believe how quickly this year has gone by. It seems like only yesterday since I was standing at the gate on Trafalgar Road welcoming everyone back to school. Since then, new knowledge has been learned, new things have been tried and new friends have been made. And that goes for me too!
It’s only as I look back over the year that I realise what a wonderful and successful year it has been for all in St Brigid’s with lots of achievements to celebrate
I am immensely proud of all the pupils and their teachers who strive every day to be the best that they can be. I would like to acknowledge the huge role played by our volunteer parents who give up their time to work so hard on behalf of the school. At times I am sure it appears like a thankless task, but trust me, your contribution is invaluable.
To our class of 2018 I would like to wish you every success and happiness as you move into secondary school. Go n-éirí go geal libh i gcónaí.
I hope you all have a lovely summer and I look forward to seeing you again in August.
