All buses used by pupils must meet the highest standards. The Board of Management has decided that, if a hired bus arrives without seatbelts as expected, the trip will be postponed.
Children sometimes travel on Dublin City bus services, not hired specifically by the school. Seatbelts are not fitted. The Board of Management has decided:
- They may only be used for trips within the city, where such buses would normally travel.
- There must be only two children per seat and no children may sit in the front seats on the lower or upper decks.
Children must remain seated at all times and they must obey the instructions of their teachers. Children who consistently disobey the above rules will not be permitted to travel with the school on trips.
